Un-cinematic.

Day 4

It's been a torturing few days for me now having to live without the box that took over our lives 'partially'. We've become so dependant on it so much so that it controls us. Well, not really control but in the sense that if it's no longer of service, it's like the missing jigsaw in our daily, sad but true routine lives.

Yes, there are days where we take them for granted when we have events, functions, galas, outings, work and what may you. Essentially, the telly knows that we would stay loyal to them no matter what form of entertainment we may have be it the gameboys, personal computers, ipod, imac, itools, ibots and all the ican'taffordits. Heck, even playstations, xboxs, dreamcasts, the co-partners of televisions wouldn't be here if it weren't for the tv.

Maybe it's time to upgrade with technology. Maybe it's time to get a >50 inch plasma-gnificent tv and do justice to that ol big jalopy. That's the subtle hint I get when I sit down on me couch looking blankly into the Grundig (a big and good for nothing) television I have at home without the video output and with only audio output. It was the first time I was listening to Mtv and listening to Everybody Loves Raymond. Yes, that's how s**ky it is for me at the moment. It's like the tv is playing games with this household.

/insert (to be said in the same manner as "see no touch, touch no see")

"hear no see, see not here"

I guess everything happens for a reason, if the Grundig commit suicide, I wouldn't be here blogging. Video killed the radio star. Digital killed the analog star.

Till day 5. And what's ironic is the fact that I was going to rent 10 (weekly) dvds from a special deal voucher I have but didn't get around it. *PheW*

Currently listening to: I try, Macy Gray
Am feeling: naked, lost and unusual after dinner
