7th of May, what a sunny and wonderful day it is.
Woke up with just a few hours sleep but I knew I had the energy to continue with my day. Once I had fetched my mom to her office, it was to the AA to get my theory test which is a requisite for my conversion of my driving license. Had answered one question wrongly but it was all smooth and sweet.
Grabbed a few bacon & egg McMuffs back home and gobbled em' down. Just waiting for time to pass for my next appointment and this time was to Davenport for lunch and what a lovely town it is just oppo Auckland city centre as the view there was spectacular especially with the compliment of bright and generous sunshine *which is considered a blessing on this winter day*. But alas, we had no camera so Jurvena took a few shots with her photographic memory and hopefully the prints turns out fine.
Got home and took a power nap for a few minutes while dinner plans were well under way. The grubbing was held at Wasabi Japanese restaurant @ Takapuna *how original/creative they must be with that name aye?* Was deciding for the food while admiring the ambience and interior of the restaurant which was really nice. Had a few debate on whether the owners and workers were of which race. And I shall leave the answer to the last line of this paragraph. My mind was absolutely set on one of the seafood dish which consists of scallops, baby octopus, prawns, calamari, mussels and mushrooms, all which are on my favorite list. And the portions are HUGe and I mean HUGE with no exxageration whatsoever. They had sushi plates the size of half the tables and don't even ask about the Bento boxes. If any of you guys are thinking of heading to this absolutely worth your penny restaurant, pls. note that you should not order more than 3 dishes per table if you have a party of 3. Take heed... anyway, back to the dinner, my mates, Lenny, Esther and Dewina did not manage to finish their entrees' but Esther kept of saying that she was still hungry but unsatisfied. The night ended with a high note as we found out that it was owned and managed by Koreans, now beat that!!! Hope the next one would be a better one than this. But the dinner and night was indeed a sweet one.
Had a power nap and it was off to 'The Met' with Lan and Benny and the world became smaller as we arrived. But no chilling in The Met for us that night as they had Djs' for the night as we proceeded to The Lounge and chilled there till there was no more chilling to be done.
Me feeling?: satisfied
