well, this blogspot
1) would definitely be a good spot where people could drop a note so that it doesn't look so sad after all. (tag-board)
2) I can change the template as much as I can without much worry.
3) a nice frame for the linked images

but LJ
1) is a much faster (*not sure how to phrase it*) platform
2) a community of helpful people
3) has many helpful features for blogging
4) is faster in editing and managing your blog without having to wait.
