Last post of the leap year!

Had tasted the worst ever Nasi Lemak here ever and it's located at Meadowland Shopping Court and I shall not be mean to state the name of that restaurant. Hint: It's the only asian food provider there.

Thought I'd place a bet on three trifecta horses at the local TAB on three horses carefully studied for a mere 5 minutes and it was time for the race to start in just a few minutes. So I had to go with my intuition on which of the horses would be the best bet. So I picked three and waged a bet of $6 for those 3 particular horses to win in any order whether 1st, 2nd or 3rd. And the race was scheduled at 4.50pm and my ticket was clocked at 4.49pm.

And soon enough the gallops were off. Coming to the end straight, I had one horse which was leading the whole while and before I knew it, the race commentator (or whatchamacallit) was murmuring the other 2 horses name which I bought and I had no idea whether was it my horses or not. And indeed enough I had won a trifecta dividend of a total $1XX.XX. I just shouted "yeah" whether be it I had won or not. So you must be thinking what's the end of this story would be huh? I had won! Couldn't believe my luck or rather shall I say good intuition and skills to read the form of my picks in previous races and bracket they were in.

All in all, I shall say it was luck for me to take a last minute turn to the TAB and luck for making the bet in time. And I shall say it was gut feeling plus a pinch of good homework done in the spur of the moment. *pat on the back* So that was the highlight of my day.

Next was to get rid of ants from my house as I bought some ant baits which states that it would kill the colony and also the Queen Mother. *fingers crossed* Just can't stand em' ants going for the rubbish bags (due to the darn neighbor's cat picking on em' bags when the garage door was left open). Had a little chat with Tania and Josh about what my dad's crossbow was for. (picture the sound of loud 'ting' when the ballbearing hits metal) OUch! You darn felines better keep your distance or you just might be asking your fellow cats where your neighboring cats are.

Stan: Hmm. I wonder what happened to Bob? Haven't been seeing him lately, have you?
Salem: He'd probably might have gone for a road trip.
Stan: Yea, he might have I reckon. Good on him! Anywhere would be better off than staying here just hunting for birds, mice, or rummaging through the neighbor's rubbish bags.

Ok. Moving on to better and brighter things now. So what have you done or achieved this year from your list of to do's? Well, in some unfortunate countries, the closing of the year was not a good one. Just feel sad today as I finally watched my first newsflash regarding the tragic tsunami disaster sinced it had happened on boxing day. If you haven't striked out that last and prickling item on your list, you'd still have time I guess. So make the best out of time and seize the moment to check that thingmajiggy that has been haunting you and say it out loud and proud in the year 2005 when if someone asks when? And you can solemnly answer "by golly but if you must ask, I actually did it last year". hiaKs. =)

Had browsed a few tech gadgets which were really cool and innovative. And thought that this product was really a smart one. I mean how cool would it be to own a digital photo frame? Geez, I just couldn't wait to get back and surf more about the product as it would make great gift to someone OR more like to myself. Marvelling at the key features and articles dated back in 1999. Do click on the link to see it NOW. So, where was I when this cool contraption was introduced into the market man? So yeah, I took a look to the right column and there it stated 'PHDA55 Digital Photo Frame - This product is no longer for sale.'

What I really need to get for my folks is an automated vacuum cleaner. Ah! What ingenius mammals we have evolved into.

Yes, the magazine was outdated to my assumption. =|

The past few days has been a great one for me in terms of luck and great times with friends if I'd exclude the absence of the TV. Family not here but they will be soon. But also a little sad then when things are goin fine and my way, it's the end of a chapter in a book for me. Well, I shall anticipate the year 2005 with all my determination. Sayonara 2004, it was a good year and "Hello 2005!". It's a one day less than the current but I'm sure it's gonna be a good, fun and adventurous ride ahead for us all if we look at it as a journey.
