Unable to find page: Riding the whale and Satisfaction from that?

The Whale Rider play was certainly not my cup of tea. Did not understand much about the singing and 'Haka' ritual and if so indeed, parts of the storyline was inserted into the dancing and singing, sure enough I wouldn't have understood the story due to my cultural ignorances. Therefore I am concluding that I do not understand the story of the play at all amidst all that shouting screaming and coarse voice over the microphone. But in and understading manner, they did ask us to bear with it as it was their first preview after rehearsing for 4 days or somefiNk like that.

Proceeded to Stamford Hotel to meet the crew for drinks before headind to 'The Met'. Polo Bar was quite a nice setting with a live pianist, cigars, wine and alcohol on location. What did we do there? That was where we traded stories about our young and ~~stupid~~ foolish yesteryears and also stories of sick behaviour.

Needless to say. 'Satisfaction' was indeed satisfying! It started with only five of us but was later joined by many as if everyone wanted to be satisfied on that Friday night. Jihan, Ning, Harley, Ben, Janice, Karen and even Evette was there once again. Met loads of interesting people. Met a dude who was really buffed up by the name or Dave. "Couz we are soulmates" he exclaimed. Music was twice as good as the usual. And many photo opportunities that night as George.fm and worlddj.com were snapping away trigger happily.
