From Royal Flush to Aiyoh Flushed!
I'm back after being on a hiatus. Have lots to write about but it's all gone now since I didn't write it down in the first place. What was the last thing to happen to me? Well, I guess the most interesting part in which I can clearly remember is an two incidents at the casino. One which was almost made me a couple of thousands richer and the other a couple of hundreds poorer. Perhaps I have much more to write about if I do jot it down in my notes somewhere. Anybody looking at my wishlist lately? heh~
The first one was a visit I made after clubbing in the early hours of the morning. The jackpot was around 8X.XXX something. So there I was playing carribean stud poker and I opened the first four cards and to my surprise was the following
10 of spades
Queen of spades
King of spades
Ace of spades
Without much anticipation further, I slowly opened the last card and it was of the diamond suite and along went my thrill of hitting the jackpot. So without much ado at this stage, much heart was pumping much slower and to my surprise I got a Jack of diamond. So there I was holding a hand of straights which could have been the royal flush. And as funny how God had put it, the dealer had to qualify in order for me to get paid for this non-special hand. So the dealer slowly opens her hand one by one (At this point, my mind was yelling out "qualify! qualify! God damn it!") and the first four cards had no matching pairs nor suite and the last card she whipped up was another ace to match her first ace. Got paid 4-1 if can remember. Whatever the amount, it clearly isn't large enough for me to remember I guess. Oh what luck! And the dealer was showing my hand to the pit supervisor and there were sighs all over the air.
My other incident? Guess I'll have to include that the next time I blog as for now, it's time for some toying around with the new messenger that I had just downloaded which everybody has been recommending me to download for the past few months.
